A new entry into the hugely popular Resident Evil video game film franchise by writer and director Johannes Roberts. The story takes place on a fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998 and stars Kaya Scodelario (Maze Runner) , Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and The Wasp) , Robbie Amell (Upload), Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy), Avan Jogia (Zombieland: Double Tap) and Neal McDonough (Yellowstone). The Resident Evil franchise has generated more than 1.2 billion at the global box office over six films.
