Where in the world is Osama Bin Laden? This documentary movie is about finding people, asking them about Osama and finding out what he stands for in the eyes of ordinary Moslems. He decides to go to the Middle East and find Osama himself to make the world a safer place for his child who is due in December. After going through training courses in self-defence and combat, he begins his quest.
Morgan Spurlock brings us a Michael Moore scenario with laughs. The film itself covers his preparation for his journey of discovery and his amazing excursion through the Middle East talking to a wide range of locals. Their main complaint is that the American Government is their enemy while the American people are okay.
The thing that strikes you is the idea of what it must be like to live in these places. The poverty is devastating with the young having no hope, education or future.
Spurlock goes to cave and yells “Yoohoo! Osama?” This sums up the point about his search for Osama. Eventually he walks away because he has defined what the Middle East means to the rest of the world.
